The Best Ain't Enough....
Finally I am learning about something other than parabolas, electric circuits, 'Enry 'Iggins....
For example, whoever said that hard-work was the first step to the path of a geeko where there are " no doors, no windows, no shining lamps" was a dumbass who jumped the gun when faced with the biggest challenge of his life...pressed the buzzer at the wrong moment to the wrong question with the wrong answer at the tip of his tongue....
I have just returned from school and its 7.51 pm by the Longhorn watch on my desktop.
Every single muscle of my body is stretched, bent, twisted, over-worked and virtually groaning for a respite...but my mind and my heart wont give them this respite that they yearn for....
Coz' today I realized what sets Bosconians apart from the others...what sets apart winners from losers.... and how we succeed the moment we take the first step of the longest sojourn called life - doesn't matter whether we are capable or fortunate enough to experience the exuberance of a victor...
When +2 students all across Kolkata are busy running from one institute to another, with nothing but IIT etched onto their hearts and minds, 3 guys were willing to sacrifice their precious tickin' seconds for just one single purpose - to prove a point that a Bosconian is a class apart from a Martinian or a Xavierian or for that matter any other damn student ...why?
Tell me....
Who would spend every single minute from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm in their school ( which, by the way is now worthy or being labelled as the RITZ of Kolkata - schools coming for Bosco Fest - don't be surprised if you see teachers validating their attendance at fingerprint scanners in a mindblowing n fantastic n supercool furnished office ) running up and down, left n right for one single event....so that people may enjoy themselves....
yeah.... I am talking about our very own Bappa, Deepan and Arindam Saha....
When it seemed that 30 rep profiles were a distant dream for Monday's rep meetin, these guys worked like absolute dudes....nerves of steel you know... and finally ended completing every single rep profile by 6.45 pm.....with secret matches of Counter Strike in between, and Arindam's CCD treat .... not to mention Fr.Matthew and Mr.Jacob's help who, believe me, have been really co-operative and understanding....
Its time that these guys, especially Bappa received his due....for being the coolest guy in class XII.... if there's one person i am ever gonna approch for help...if there's one person whom I am gonna recall whenever anyone mentions "reliability" and "trust" and "compromise" .... its Bappa....
Hats off to you dude.... Its not every day that we see heroes like you....
And that is why dudes like you help DB kiss the heights of infinte success....
